· Operates alongside an applied angle indicator & a rudder angle

· indicator – the indicator shows the angle demanded and the rudder angle indicator shows the rudder move to the demanded angle.

As a safety feature when the wheel is selected the EHU option on the mode select panel and the LEDs on the scale will flash until the wheel matches the position of the rudder. Once these lights are illuminated without blinking the EHU selected will be in control. This is to avoid the rudder moving out of control when the EHU position is selected.
